Prison Break (Season 3)

Taken from: http://www.prisonbreakmanhunt.com/pictures/prison-break-season-3-screencaps/s03e06/

Well, after watching Season 3, I, once again, am impressed by the creator, Paul Scheuring, of the story.  He can make every episode so impressive and breath-taking.  Once you start the first episode, you cannot stop until the end like reading an exciting story or eating a kind of tasty potato chips.

This time, the story is set in Sona Federal Prison, Panama.  It is a huge and violent prison with strict supervision.  Michael is imprisoned and he is asked to help another prisoner, James Whistler, to break out.  In one of the episodes, Michael said that if he is given a choice, he will not choose to break out.

Once again, Michael uses all his might and energy to break out of Sona and he does show his high intelligence quotient! When he breaks out for the first time, I thought he might not make it.  Later, when all the villains are involved, like Lechero, Bagwell, and Bellick who fail to break out, I hope they cannot escape successfully.  Eventually, Mahone and Whistler manage to get out.

I was disappointed in the middle of the story as Sara Tancredi is decapitated and later I found that it's because the actress was pregnant at that time.  They are thinking of having Sara alive in Season 4.  I am glad she's not dead too.  So, Season 4 will be mainly about Michael taking revenge on "the Company" who takes Sara's life.

There is another female character who is as smart as Michael called Susan B. Anthony.  She is cool, brutal, violent and efficient.  She knows what she is doing and she uses every means to get the job done.  A beautiful girl called Sofia who is Whistler's girlfriend also makes the story more interesting.  Sofia trusts Whistler wholeheartedly while he lies to her for so many times, it shows a big contrast here.

Of course, I like the role of Michael Scofield (acted by Wentworth Miller who is a handsome guy).  He is willing to do everything for his loved ones (Sara and LJ) once he sets a target.  When he knows the death of Sara, he is very depressed.  He has a kind heart as he does not want to hurt anyone all his life.  Towards the end of the story, he is pondering whether he should help Whistler, a person he knows nothing of, or Mahone, a criminal because last time he helps so many people break out of Fox River which leads to a number of accidents and the deaths of many people.  This time, he does not need to use his tattoo anymore and he shows he has a witty mind like helping Lechero to get water for the prisoners and getting LJ back safely and so on.....

As for Sucre and Lincoln, I think they are good actors as well!  This Season 3 is quite short with just 13 episodes because of the WGA strike!  Anyway, I look forward to the Season 4 of Prison Break!!
